The San Francisco Examiners iPad app features all the news, politics, sports and entertainment coverage from our daily print edition in a convenient, easy-to-use format. In addition to Bay Area news features like Law&Disorder, we also feature coverage of state, national and world stories. And last but not least, readers get access to all of the great deals and bargains that our advertisers offer every day.
Readers can download the entire edition so they can read us even when they dont have a wifi connection. We also allow readers to search and access our archive of previous editions. Want to share it with friends? No problem. The app makes it easy to do that, too.

Its good but not perfect
Simply put, it does what it says it does but you cant go back to the menu page when youre press on the paper

Not bad
It seems to work -- a bit slow and crashy, but if youre patient, you can read the daily free Ex. You can download editions while youre in a wi fi zone, and they are saved so you can read them later off line. You can also delete downloaded editions when you want.

Glitchy on iPad
On the iPad in landscape mode the bottom 1/4 of the screen has a white bar across it (double the size of most iAds) in portrait mode the same bar is there but there is also a large blank rectangle floating about 1/2 down the page that makes reading anything in that mode impossible. Here is hoping the can get the glitches out. I wouldnt mind ads as long as they are normal size :).

The new icon looks really ugly on ipad! The up itself works but is not very pleasant to use.
